(Friendsville, TN) The Colonel’s Coffee Company™ began service today at the Blount County Campus of Pellissippi State Community College. Owner, Colonel David Dockery (USAF Retired), is enthusiastic about providing students, faculty, and staff with great coffee during peak hours of the week.
David, along with his wife, Julia, and their daughters, Megan and Katherine, are hoping everyone will be as excited about having a coffee service trailer on campus as they are. Initial response has been good.
Brenna, pictured above with the Colonel, is the very first customer. David said, “She was really friendly and happy she was our first customer and that we wanted a picture with her.”
Another student was also excited. She and her dad are both big coffee fans and thought it was great that we are there.

(L-R): Megan, David, Kinlee, and Katherine
Joining the family business, is Kinlee, the only non-family barista working with us. We are delighted to have her on board.
David, Megan, Katherine, and Kinlee, will pour fresh brewed coffee or make a drink to order. Stop by before or after class, because we would love to meet you.
The menu is small to begin with; espresso, brewed coffee, cappuccino, and a few more offerings. We plan on adding to the menu as we grow. Currently, pastries and biscotti are the only food items.
For now, we will be on the campus three days a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 7:30AM to 11:30AM.
